Seriously though, Ive got generations of family living in brighton and its a great town,lots of life but not so great for a young family in my opinion best off moving to "on the cusp" just outside
oh and the lion and lobster pub is very popular with locals, that right in town

And also had a look in perscription art Carl Cashman not in till the 6th but they had some cool stuff in stock. and some crazy neon light bit near the window.

Depends what you're comparing it to really dazarino. I've lived in Brighton for the past 13 years and would say there's no REAL fine dinning here. Don't get me wrong, there are some excellent restaurants but no fine dinning like Claridges, 45 Park Lane or Massimo's at The Corinthia Hotel (I speak from experience and have eaten in these establishments recently). Or maybe I am just being a tw*ty snob! :-) x
I would recommend the Coal Shed on Boyces Street, they can be a little up their own ars*s but the food is excellent. www.coalshed-restaurant.co.uk/
