quinnster, pm me a postal address and I'll pop you a visitors parking permit in the post for Zone C - www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/content/parking-and-travel/parking/parking-zone-c#map
The map doesn't seem to work on mobile, so perhaps check it on desktop. But you wanna be looking at roads around Albion Hill, John Street, that area. The permit will allow you to park all day in a Zone C residents bay, or a Zone C shared use bay. The parking signs have the letter of the zone on them. Just make sure you have a pen to write your reg number and scratch off the details of the day, month and year correctly, and display clearly on your dash; otherwise they'll give you a ticket! Make sure you're in Zone C too, and not any other Zone. Welcome to Brighton, parking Hell ๐คฃ
