It doesnโt appeal to me, thatโs for sure. And the thin line through the canals is not my cup of tea either.

Something about borders, but I already wasn't sold on the work itself. Feels like something by Olafur Eliasson.

In some ways it is a work much like Christo's, a large landscape piece, which by its size, placement and provenance causes conversation on said topic. I will be in Amsterdam at the time of the Meet and Greet. That figured heavily into my decision to purchase as he is a very inspiring person. Plus, I'll get the VAT refunded I believe. So that makes it about 2K Euro for a lovely minimalist sculpture by Ai Weiwei in an edition of 100, with a signed COA.
I also have tickets to the NL premier of Human Flow at the beautiful Carre on the 19th.
It's going to be a lovely holiday. Cannot wait!

I'm not sure what this part means. "The artist will sign a limited edition of 100 pieces. It is unprecedented for Ai WeiWei to do this"
If the signature is engraved is not really that unprecedented (ebay sculpture, even skateboards). and will there be unsigned pieces available as well?
