Judging from some auction results a small amount of damage doesnโt seem to effect value much... but I donโt follow results that closely! So, if you want to sell anyway, and you get offered a good price, then would you even need compensation too !?
Print is still currently at the restorers so waiting for updated pictures before collecting it.
Soon as I have those will be more than happy to share them with any potential buyers etc.
Was really more interested in what kind of effect damage like this could have on the price of a print but I guess thereโs no exact science. I guess itโs worth what someone is willing to pay.

Honesty is always the best policy, and if you have a figure in mind then go with it and best of luck to you.

That's true but given the oversaturation and volatility of the market recently, results at auctions houses have been pretty unpredictable. Although somewhat surprisingly, this seemed to hold it's own at the recent Forum auction where most prints bombed. Think I'd prefer to sell privately than risk it an auction |

Try buying just about anything from before the 1960s or 1970s that is absolutely perfect.
I have a couple of favourite artists and I look for them in every auction....and every single print has some issues....usually minor (like yours).
The incredible focus on perfect condition that is often discussed here will pass.

As previously mentioned there are a few condition issues, none of which are visible if you plan on framing this and having it on the wall.
Front:
Overall in very good condition, sharp corners. Two areas of minor discolouration right at the edge of the print which frame out. Pictures below:
Back:
No staining or discolouration, but a few scuffs and marks where presumably it's been framed previously. Pictures below:
Ideally looking to get this sold in the next week. Apologies if you have DM'd me before. If you're still keen feel free to reach out again.

There are a couple of water marks in the top right that can been seen, galleries and auction houses have said this is very very minor and would not effect value but I am being fully transparent about the condition (see photos)
