These sales do seem to have gone pretty badly though. But then as you say, no real effort to promote them from what ive seen. I think they are getting lazy and relying only on the pre existing clients now and saving the budget. my worthless 2c

I think this is the first Bi-annual auction house sale I have seen without a GWB being sold in several years.. My lacklastre sale is still the one being quoted on www.banksy-value.com/My guess is he's had enough and called it a day. He's done his money and more. He could easily sit on a beach in Bora Bora sipping Margaritas for the rest of his days and just live off ARR if he so wished. Christ, editions were big enough! You cant blame him. He's worked hard for it and it probably gets harder and harder the older you get. Too much at stake, no longer worth the risks. He's been silent through so many key events it just doesn't add up. Either that or he's been working on something massive. BBay, maybe, or is he over all that nasty legal business now he no longer needs to? Would love to know what you guys think.
Probably just pissed off with it all. Take some time out, wait for it all to go away and the market to drop where no one cares, get people all bitter and fucked off with it all. Then start again, maybe

A small number of collectors who have unlimited budgets have made a few sales go to crazy highs! But as soon as they have completed their collections, that demand will disappear.
Investors take the highest ever price achieved as at valuation 😂 That type of thinking can't go on forever.

Banksy Prices Up or Down?, by 7star on Sept 22, 2022 14:33:51 GMT 1, I agree with Mr Silk ☺ Banksy prints will stay at a slightly more realistic price but I do think originals whether they have PC cert or its a well known and obviously genuine street piece, the price will stay between 6 or seven figures I mean look at the surface 2 air bomb middle England street piece that sold for $500,000
