Has anyone on here ever ordered anything direct from the OBEY website?

I ordered some prints and a few other bits about a month and a half ago Still nothing I have emailed them twice and to two different email addresses and they have not replied

I know some people say about how slow it can be to get stuff delivered from America but I ordered some prints from Dave Kinsey (Obey) and they arrived after only one week ;D Great Service!

I agree, I've placed two orders in the last few months and on both occasions I've had to start the non receipt process through paypal to get any response from obey

The last time I had to do this paypal refunded my money as obey didn't even respond to them.

I like their stuff but since I have only ever experienced really bad service they haven't had any orders from me for a while.

Good to read your comments Mose so I'll give them another go and get those prints I really wanted but have been loathed to buy.

Maybe OBEYs ordering system is run by ID Media? ;D

I too have had the misfortune of ordering a couple of prints from Obey.
Money was taken out of my account over a month ago, my emails went unanswered and now I will be seeking a refund. I read the thread about them being hardworking and all, but don't really buy that excuse. If they're taking the cash, then they need to send someone to a post office once in a while. But for now, I'd avoid them like the plague and order from a different outlet. Shame really as I'm sure they'd sell a
lot of work if they delivered.

yep they are a disgrace. Either provide a service or don't bother.
They all get sold out but I wonder who actually owns one!?? And it is annoying seeing stuff on ebay that I ordered several months ago and don't know whether to buy off ebay or wait for MY prints, which have been paid for.

FINALLY heard from them last week after 2 months with NADA since paying them and emailing them about 5 times. Not sorted yet, but at least got a reply....

My method?

I sent them about 30 emails in a day telling them that if they didn't reply I would continue to send emails until they did!

I'm in a place I've been in twice before with obey.

Thought I'd give them another chance since reading they had improved their service but alas I'm in the same place I've been before on more than one occasion.

Paid my money weeks ago for a copy of the book, paid $35 postage yet I'm still waiting. Emails go unanswered as usual so no improvement in service that I can see. I'll be starting my paypal claim again soon and buying from elsewhere in future.

I order from Obey very often and Obey's shipping does suck. Domestically in the US my biggest complaint is that they only ship via UPS Ground (the worst); Id say 1 outa 4-5 tubes ends up damaged in transit. Most tragically I purchased 10 of the 50 signed Walk The Line prints and they were damaged by the intern that packaged them into a triangle mailer, with no tube! I called them and asked how they could be so careless with 20% of the run (?). I got an apology, an offer to return them, and free stickers .

April is the big cheese there and she is VERY friendly. Studio One's (Obey studio) is on the Paypal receipt when you submit an order 213-383-9299. They dont answer emails but they do answer the phone and are very good.

I placed 1 order from duckywaddles (a red Motorhead) and it arrived with numbers and letters written in pencil on the back. I called them to see what this was about as I knew it wasnt Shep's writing. The fella on the phone was crazy arrogant to me and said that was his writing and that was his inventory system. I erased it and it is less visible but I dont want some random cats chicken scratch on the back of my print. Just a heads up before you buy there $3,000 Beatles set.

Yep, the Banksy forum is still pretty new but its growing very fast

Cant be bothered reading it all again, but ordered my obey prints ( 6 in all ) from Duckywadles rather than obey.giant, got them in jat over a week, thirty dollars a piece and absolutley stunning, priority P&P was 27 dollars (about 15 quid) cannot recommend them enough. Supply and demant is outstanding in the quality of some of the illustrations and the composition / materials used in the book.

The only Obey I have (MLK, incredible detail) I ordered from Duckywaddles. They had is listed as signed and numbered and when it arrived it was an a/p. Go figure.

Hey MGH, as I said above, Ducky's gives very good service, they even got in touch to make sure the postage wasn't too much. I got in touch before hand with a few questions ( postage rates, time scale etc..) and the were real quick with a reply. The postage works out quicker than alot of the places in the UK ( about 9 days) and with the exchange rate at about $2 / £1 you are looking at a signed print from shep for £15, not too bad in my opinion.

I want to do something about obey, They're commiting fraud and getting away with it. I'm so frustrated as I've sent them dozens of emails, phoned them loads of times but they just ignore all correspondence. If I lived In the US I 'd track down these fuckers and slap em. I'm curious to find out who else has been ripped off and had money stolen. If these fuckers ever do a show in the UK I'm gonna just go and nick their work, they owe me!
