As you well know, the video was made directly to mock Mason Storm claiming he was Banksy. I thought the time was perfect to lay my claim to being Banksy - and by so doing highlight the absurdity of it. Also how easy it would be to do it, thus (paradoxically) how hard it would be to do it. Consider it performance art.
Apropos that this has come up in a thread already derailed by JPS, come to think of it!

They live in my basement, in keeping with the spirit of Pest Control's explicit guidance (which you can check): "You are welcome to use Banksyโs images for non-commercial, personal amusement. Print them out in a colour that matches your curtains, make a card for your gran, submit them as your own homework, whatever."
Any replicas are single versions handmade by me and clearly marked as such (permanently) on the back. It was actually a fun project. If you have not tried you hand at stenciling, it's about as easy a place to start as there is...my kids love them...my wife hates them...par for the course...
