Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by Adamski on Feb 20, 2009 12:31:42 GMT 1, Cheers Hugs, I'm also well. One of the pieces Steve has done for me is on his site, you'll have to guess which one it is I'll see if I can sort some pics a couple of the others he's done for me and get them on here.

Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by mred on Feb 21, 2009 20:31:22 GMT 1, Good to see Steve is being kept busy framing plenty of work from some of the stars of the urban art scene. Would be surprised if many framers have framed more Empire State prints www.frontierpictureframes.com/page4.htm
Also well done to all the local guys who managed to bag a Empire state print and have put them on their walls rather than ebay.

Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by viperuk on Mar 1, 2009 22:07:25 GMT 1, Got my TMA Empire State from Steve on the weekend. What more can I say, another top job from Steve. The framing is fantastic. What a great service Steve provides. To anyone else within the area (or is willing to travel - its worth it) I would recommend Steve. No one else will get my framing work now. Thanks again Steve

Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by mred on Mar 14, 2009 11:43:08 GMT 1, Picked Dicy piece up from Steve yesterday, simple framing job but think it suits the piece.
First Dicy piece, I and more importantly the one that must be obeyed love it, photos not great but what do others think?

The black looks as if it's seeting off the pinks and reds really well. Another great job from Steve!

Agree totally Northernmonkey about this one going under the radar and it's quality. I got it as a valentine present for the girlfriend. Although looked good on the screen did not really know what to expect as first Dicy piece. When it arrived I was blown away. To start with, as you know, it is painted onto silvered card and the image I believe was hand stenciled so everyone is unique. Add the fact it was sold for ยฃ45 all in and girlfriend loved it - awesome all round. To be honest I should have got two or three ;D ;D ;D Only problem with all the silveriness hard to photo.

Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by mred on Jun 13, 2009 10:19:14 GMT 1, Another great job by Steve.
I was luck enough to grab the Irony Vanity paste up from Blight Society's ยฃ1 art. Having got it in my hands I was chuffed with the image but a little confused about how to frame it so popped to see Steve for advice. After a bit of discussion Steve agreed to mount on foam mount cut to just below paste up with plain black backing board and frame.
Picked it up yesterday and he had done wicked job, I think Steve himself was pleased with resulting effect and as normal he applied his conservation standard approaches even though this turned out to be very time consuming.
As normal my photographs do not do piece justices, but in the flesh piece really seems to float. Thanks again to Steve, to Blight Society for introducing me to Irony's work and Irony for producing a great image, love the piece you did on the Grain Barge for upfest as well as Melancholy.
Only problem now is where to hang

Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by Goooogle Male on Jul 28, 2011 14:15:58 GMT 1, hi guys
I've bought a print off someone in Bristol. It is in a temporary frame at the moment but I need it down to Gary / MFM for re-framing ASAP.
Can someone recommend (or is someone on this board??) a decent, reliable and friendly picture framer in Bristol who the seller can take the print to, to be removed safely from the frame, carefully packaged in thick tube and Special Delivery sent to Mr Frame Man?
obviously i'd pay time/mailing costs

I've had one too many bad experiences with Niche Frames and although I'd love to try out Mr Frameman it isn't really going to be practical to get the pieces to them.
Many thanks.

Framers in BRISTOL / BATH ๐ฌ๐ง Who do you Recommend? , by victorwilliams on Sept 19, 2012 22:06:18 GMT 1, Hi guys my go to framer in Monmouth has dropped a bomb shell on me today, saying that he can no longer frame large pieces (applause/WWWK) kinda sizes. Something regarding health and safety with large pieces of glass being transported and delivered to his 1st floor frame shop. It's a real shame I've had many pieces framed by him.
Anyway this leaves me with the predicterment of choosing a framer from scratch to frame my WWWK! I no live in Bristol so any info or suggestions regarding the framers of this great city would be grand.
