I second that. Niche (bottom of Stokes Croft) do all of my work.

I've used Niche several times and, although I've generally been happy with the final results, I have had a few problems with them. I now use Tunnadine Fine Arts (http://www.printed-editions.com/gallery/tunnadine-fine-art) who are just around the corner from Niche. The quality has always been excellent and I think they're good value for money.

I've been meaning to post on here for a few months. So I went to Niche Frames with my Dolk Toy. Spoke to a very helpful young lady and sent it away.

Boxed frame with kinda orangey spacers. I'll post a pic at some point, can never get it in good light at the moment.

I previously had work framed by another well known framer in Bristol, who will remain nameless as they aren't here to defend themselves, but I had a few bad experiences (including them taking a canvas off its stretcher) so I wouldn't go back there.

Asked this in the Peter Blake thread - anyone got any recommendations for framers in the West Country? Ideally Bath or Bristol.

Yeah I'd second that, she's the one that I use and is great...down in BV Studios in bedminster.

They're having an open studios thing next weekend I think as well.

I used Niche Frames in Stokes Croft to re-frame some work and was pleased with their work.

I've used niche only on cheaper bits bit weary on anything else. They are reasonably priced and have the quickest turnaround on any framer I've used.

The thing with Niche for me is the volume of framing they do and how that translates to care with your work. I've no information to say that they don't do a good job, I'm just cautious about dropping some things off to somewhere so busy.
