When I grow up I want to have as much money as Ban, by Cocteau 101 on Jan 6, 2007 2:23:15 GMT 1, I have one of these and whatever anyone is saying it is a class image, dig or no dig, Banksy or no Banksy this although very small still looks class framed amid other prints.
Everyone seems to have forgot the humour involved in all the Banksy work.
For what it's worth I like it and if it turns out to be a Banksy or someone else it's to repeat a class image. I'd like to see it 700X500.

IMO once the LA prints are out of the way that will be it for cheap prints. And yes I know about the whole "affordable art" but that can only go on for so long.

I don't think POW are being clever, I think it's just happened to them by accident, if the computer had held up all the LA Banksy prints would be sold by now, and the LA show itself was nothing to do with them.

At least POW are trying to be fair by issuing via a lottery System, Not sure how this will work but if you end up getting one it will be the best system in the world and if you dont get one it will be the worst so what ever happens they cannot win at the moment. Lets keep fingers crossed that it is a good system and hope for the best.

It may only be small but I have to say looking at it against a lot of other stuff around it is a class image. If it had Banksy on the bottom of it people would be clamouring for it. Are we talking art or value. I think regardless of peoples view this will realise serious cash over the next few months. Mine is hanging on my hall wall!

it's a postcard sized screenprinted flyer, a pretty lame one compared to the hundreds produced every day IMO. Tons of club and gallery events produce thousands of flyers every week, some by the best designers the country has to offer. Put this at the side of a few of em and its only ok. So what you actually have, is an ok designed flyer given out in a queue.. or am I missing something ?

exactly you could easily print the image to a flyer and have enough to give out to the whole cue not just the first 100.
so why the nice paper and the screenprint process?

some good points being made, to a certain extent does it matter if it was by Banksy, POW or some bloke in their front room, if you like it, then its desirable
