The Art of customer service, by manty on Oct 4, 2007 19:26:31 GMT 1, I agree, drives me mad, booked a day off work tomorrow to get my new large Denning canvas delivered, as gallery said driver would need a hand off lorry and couldnt say what time it would arrive. So I get home at 5 today to open an email saying the deliveries cancelled for tomorrow and its been rebooked for the 17th October!!! Why couldnt they have phoned me? They have my number, and why another 2 weeks?
Anyhow cancelled the canvas and asked for a refund, It must be my time of the month ( Grumpy old git mode)

The Art of customer service, by manchestermike on Oct 5, 2007 15:38:30 GMT 1, Rebel against customer service... myself and a few friends have been sending emails out today to places that have given us crappy service in the past... mine to ASDA:
As a founder member of The British Association of Banana Appreciation and Growth in Great britain and the Republic of ireland (TEABAGGER) I wish to make a complaint about the quality of your bananas. ASDA bananas were, up until only a few months ago recognised as the best bananas in the country, but recently I and fellow teabaggers have noticed the taste has changed.
Instead of tasting bananary (yes this is an actual word, which accurately describes the true taste of bananas) there has been a marked difference and a noticeable fishy taste to them. This has been noticed at a few stores and my fellow teabaggers can only seem to attribute it to one thing, your fishmongers.
It has been noted that your company now has a new employment policy towards fishmongers. Whereas before you were using trained fishmongers now it seems you are using unqualified former sports people instead.
Our worry is these former sportsmen (and of course women) are not observing the correct procedure after they have finished their work and therefore still have the fishy smell on their fingers after their shift. This is then being transferred to the bananas they are looking to buy after their shifts to keep up their potassium intake (old habits die hard I believe)
One of our teabaggers actually saw this happen with one such former sports person at your Bedminster store in Bristol. He observed Ian Wright Wright Wright leaving his post behind the fish counter to pick up some bananas for, what we assume to be, his luncheon. He must have picked up three or four bunches before choosing one for himself thereby contaminating the other bunches with his fishy hands.
Our teabagger actually purchased one of said bunches and we tested it at our laboratory at 29 Acacia Road, and it was found that the fishyness had taken away some of the bananary taste.
As you can appreciate this is a major problem for teabaggers and I would appreciate if you could furnish us with a reply detailing how either you, or we could over come this issue.
Regards,
M.Manchester Esq, High Teabagger UK

The Art of customer service, by hendrix on Oct 5, 2007 16:16:47 GMT 1, Its just a lack of respect for the customer, I agree sometimes you get good service and when you do it's like fucking hell that’s so nice, but when your paying someone to do a job then it should be included in the service and not an extra. The problem is people just don't give a shit anymore. It’s that I'm all right jack attitude.

The Art of customer service, by Curley on Oct 5, 2007 17:01:32 GMT 1, cant stand bad service.....
last week i was in my bank and took out some money from the cashpoint.. i then asked the girl at the counter "can i have two fives pls" ? no we cant do that.... im sorry i said but i have an account here and i think you can change this. No i cant but you can pay it in to your account and with draw it as two fives.... at this point i had to say "are you having a laugh ?" To which she said no. so i duly paid in my tenner.... she then asked if i would sign the transaction receipt. i was so annoyed by now i literally swished the pen across it for her to the say your signature does not match your card. Cue man exploding and asking what ever happened to customer service

The Art of customer service, by finsburyparkranger on Oct 5, 2007 17:05:14 GMT 1, Jesus, what bank? I think we should have a 'bomb the bank' competition. Best anti bank graffiti on a bank gets a mystery prize at the award ceremony or posted out. What do ya think?
EDIT: I fcuking hate banks, especially natwest. They're staff get given points to sell products to you like Credit Card's then they trade their points in for cash if they've managed to screw enough customers for something they didn't need or want. Thats why the staff always hassle you even when there's a big queue to get some crap like an 'advantage gold' account. It amusing watching them trying to convince people that changing a free bank account for one that costs money every month actually is a good idea. My arse it is.
Then try asking them why they're waisting their breath when there's a queue full of people and they lie through their teeth denying they will benefit in any way.... I guess the bank thinks they've been trained well.
