As regular members will know I have had it for sale on here a couple of times but I think have been too greedy in the past so now looking to make a deal as this is not on the wall in new home and is wasting away wrapped in bubble wrap when it should be on display. Details of painting are as follows: CHEM TRAILS 5736 Acrylic on Panel made in 2015 30 inches by 24 With signed COA I am looking to sell this in London asap and am asking ยฃ4000 which is below my cost, especially once shipping from NY etc is factored in. Obviously there's some great stuff behind the windows but absolutely the best thing about it is observing the reactions of the random cross-section of Croydon society who happen to be here with me. It is incredibly successful at catching the attention of passers-by, provoking reactions and initiating conversations between complete strangers. The security guard characters are very chatty and help to encourage this atmosphere. I can't think of another artwork/collection/installation/whatever-this-is that I have seen which has been so successful at involving people who obviously have no wider interest in art/installations/whatever-this-ises. For this reason, and even though the daylight makes it almost impossible to take decent photos, I'd encourage people if possible to come during shopping hours. No freebies though, sadly.
There are only 5-6 windows but there is a lot going on and a lot to take in if you are a big fan. And definitely better in the flesh than the pics.

Yes Loother agree with lots of this...am pleased to say the random conversations and people being stopped in their tracks was still happening at 10pm as I guess there are people to and from pubs and restaurants etc with no clue it was happening or indeed what it is. Would urge anyone an hour or so away considering it to get down there, maybe combine with a London gallery show you like. Wonderful stuff, loved it and agree with previous comments about best to see at night as pics work better in darkness with it lit up I would guess. Definitely get down there if you can, compared to Dismaland itโs dead and thereโs plenty to see if youโre Banksy fan.
Probably approx 10-12 people there when I was down around 10-10.30. No bother, fair few security guys and nice atmosphere. Some people clearly new to Banksy and local and buzzing to be seeing it. Others came and went after a quick nose and then people

After reading the whole thread last few days I tried to take a good look at spray cans.......to me they look uniform and something that might be mass produced and unlimited or limited to 10000 and pretty cheap. Look nice though. Theyโre places with mugs etc that I also think will be mass produced compared to other items.
Screen print really looks the business and we will all want one of them, quality very high and it look superb. Clocks awesome too.
All other bigger pieces previously mentioned great to look at and some reworks of old faves excellent. Not much else to add except I loved it and will try to go again before two weeks is up.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by Love Is In The Air on Sept 20, 2019 22:08:18 GMT 1, We are a smart and savvy community that needs to build each other up and warn our fellow collectors when the market is being manipulated by the few to achieve gain over the masses. Just because something sold at auction for X does not mean that real people are actually buying it for Y. When something sold at auction for X it means that real people are actually buying it for X.
You can't stick the same print on here tomorrow asking for X and expect the money in the bank by Sunday for example. That's why others are sounding a note of caution IMHO.
We are a smart and savvy community that needs to build each other up and warn our fellow collectors when the market is being manipulated by the few to achieve gain over the masses. It does Jedi, but as you know it also means the seller will get X minus taxes, fees and commission, and may have waited months and months for the right auction to take place, and X is not guaranteed every time. So if you own a Banksy or many Banksys the auction is good news, but perhaps not quite as good as some people are suggesting. Have said on forum before but I think Manifold editions really are up there with the best and although these were expensive you are getting a v high end edition. Not as iconic as Penguin prints clearly but great prints IMHO.

Truth is I didn't go until last night. Would recommend to Bacon fans, few canvases there I have never seen. Most interesting one for me was black and white canvas Two Figures (1953) which had very detailed faces and quite different from usual style. Two Figures With A Monkey great too.
It's only 3 rooms, 20-30mins would be ample if you are in the area without loads of time before it ends August 3.

Whilst people are reading this Emin thread, if anyone has her prints 'Move' or 'I Kept Thinking Of You' they might be willing to sell or trade please PM me. I ordered a 'Move' only to be told week later I had just missed out on last print. As you can imagine I was thrilled.

The philosopher and foot things are marked way down and theyโve been taking orders for days based on them coming back in to stock. The Dog Towel is marked down to $20, but surely they would out of stock by now. Anyone got a shipping confirmation yet.? Is this legit?
So it's either a glitch in the last day or two OR they've got more in stock. I am well up for a $20 dog towel if it is right and theyve got more...

Not sure when it changed Winks but I bought some stuff when half pissed the other night - Weds I think about midnight UK time - and dog towel was showing as sold out and the philospher said something like "7 left" and the foot thing had "3 left" cos I carted two for a bit and then bought some other nonsense instead cos they were too heavy and pushing the postage up.
