Banksy, you sure? An official unofficial ( which one ? ) told the it was him... So it is Banksy, admitting. What is doing Jo Brooks ? And no update on the website ? I like the wheel but it is a dangerous advise for kids. Not sure Banksy will do that in an elementary school wall ( he likes too much kids ) . In the street , yes. Anyway the signature is a bit weird too. This is just my opinion, and it is not important at all. Waiting for an official validation ( as for the phone cab, maybe they are still hesitating ). But why not too.

Banksy should do a kickstarter campaign where I can pay for a mural to be done on my garage. Whatever he likes, complete artistic control.

Banksy at Bridge Farm Primary School, by Viking Surfer on Jun 6, 2016 12:43:43 GMT 1, It's very cool that the school named a school house after him.
I think pretty much everyone would want to be in house 'Banksy'.
They better put a clear sheet of perspex over that ASAP.

Banksy at Bridge Farm Primary School, by mojo on Jun 6, 2016 12:48:05 GMT 1, This could of been a very cool gesture for the school although in my opinion this is a very irresponsible image to put up at a primary school. Children of that age are very impressionable and if all the adults around them are telling them it's wonderful just because Banksy may have painted it it could easily send out a very confusing and potentially dangerous message. I posted here a while back that my 5 year old nephew has been studying Banksy's work at his primary school for their annual art project 'Painting for Peace' and used CND Soldiers as inspiration. I witnessed first hand what a huge influence that had on him and joked at the time that it was 'so cute teaching activist vandalism in little school' however writing on walls to promote peace and unity is one thing where as this image is quite literally playing with fire. (and it looks like a Dran).

Banksy at Bridge Farm Primary School, by Agent Provocateur on Jun 6, 2016 13:01:25 GMT 1, Knowing what quite a few forum members look like, and their penchant for hairing it over to the latest Banksy to take some photos, I am extremely worried what will happen when they're all lined up at the primary school fence, zoom lenses going in and out! This forum maybe a bit quite for a while!

Meh. Imo Parents responsibility to teach their own kids about fire safety. Do your job and let Banksy do the inspiration for the arts bit.

Regarding the signature, I think he's just tried to make it look like a kid's writing.

Is the mural done with permission. I think it was pre arranged.

I shouldn't laugh but it's a valid point and should be noted, take an overnight bag.

Banksy at Bridge Farm Primary School, by met on Jun 6, 2016 13:18:30 GMT 1, Fabulous. I love it when Banksy does something like this. A lovely gift to the community. Again. 1. I like the work and its humour.
2. I love the gesture of art being offered by Bรกnksy to a primary school, especially in Bristol.
3. I think the placement and context of this work are terribly inappropriate. Poorly-judged and ill-advised.
My position here is similar to that of mojo. It's an unhelpfully confusing message to very young children. Better to remove the piece from its current location and display it elsewhere.

That's another point , attracting vast crowds around the school with cameras , dodgy dressed art collectors hanging around the gates , random people taking pics ,I'm sure after a while there will be a few concerned parents
I'm sure it was done with good intentions but young minds are impressionable and the message will conflict with parents views .
To a kid that image looks like a fun thing to do .
