โTrue Utopiaโ is a journey and invites the public to acknowledge the contradiction between truth and utopia. Itโs a never ending trip between the real life of these artists themselves, and the utopia that they express through their paintings.
Taxis understands true utopia as a continuous struggle and a disposition to seek out a desirable future. He emphasizes feelings of rage, aggression, or passive tranquility in his willingness to achieve his own utopia.
All of the lines, colors, and designs in a pop style, combined with street art and tattoo influences symbolize Same84โฒs personality.
Coming from an introspective angle, Apset utilizes spray paint in an attempt to exteriorize his expression. For him, the game begins when โthe pain from the truth becomes a necessity to dreamโ.
The theme in the work of Vasilis Markosian focuses on the urban scene, the loneliness that a man experiences today, and the vanity of modern ideals and its impact on us as individuals.

Sebas Velasco (Burgos,Spain, 1988) returns to Barcelona in a big way with โPermanent Midnightโ, a well deserved solo exhibition at Montana Gallery Barcelona.
Having been in contact with the graffiti world since 2004, Sebas Velasco defined his creative process while completing a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Paรญs Vasco. After a period of nomadic studying (Uk, Barcelona, Cordobaโฆ), his style developed during the completion of his Masters Degree in Painting at UPV/EHU.
His photographic, expressive brush stroke style reveals a a precise academic technique that contrasts sharply with the rawness of the street content in his works. Despite being an orphan to the egocentric world of graffiti letters, Sebas Velasco remains linked to this tight discipline and assigns it as one of the main themes in his work.

He tends to sell and promote local artists which is great. I was there and met a few local artists and actually went out on a few night paints......
Montana has 2 shops/Galleries which are always worth a look
Also do a street tour on bikes to see the public walls and hidden spots.
I would also get up early before 9am and walk around the town looking at the shop shutters before they open and raise the shutters - some great pieces
Invader is there too
