Visit BARCELONA ๐ช๐ธ Spain Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Coach on May 21, 2022 21:46:11 GMT 1, Going to Barcelona for the first time in a week and would love recommendations for galleries, museums, street art pieces to see, etc. We are going to do a graffiti walking tour which hopefully covers major artists like Blu's whale. There's an unauthorized Banksy show, though I think Massive Attack and Gorillaz are both performing at a major music event that week so maybe some new authentic Banksy pieces popping up around town...ย The Fundaciรณ Joan Mirรณ is a must.
Could not agree more. Loved it there.

Visit BARCELONA ๐ช๐ธ Spain Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Ghoul Bones Jones on Feb 28, 2023 18:54:04 GMT 1, I'm visiting for a month in May/June. Words can't express how excited I am to check out as many of the recommendations in this thread as possible. I'll also be going to the Spanish Grand Prix so if any forum members are in town, let me know and we'll grab a beer!

Visit BARCELONA ๐ช๐ธ Spain Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Smokeidaeye on Feb 28, 2023 19:18:28 GMT 1, I'm visiting for a month in May/June. Words can't express how excited I am to check out as many of the recommendations in this thread as possible. I'll also be going to the Spanish Grand Prix so if any forum members are in town, let me know and we'll grab a beer! The MOCO museum mentioned above had a great collection of Banksy, Kaws, Invader, Basquiat, Haring, etc.
We also did an graffiti walking tour one of our first days there and it was fun getting to know the style of many of the local street artists so we could spot them when exploring the rest of our time there.
There were also 3-4 great street art galleries including Base Elements and ArteVistas. I bought a few pieces from the latter one.
Besides that, as a professional chef I spent a lot of time eating at some really amazing places. There are also a ton of tourist restaurants that aren't very good so if you like to eat then it is worth doing some research and making a few reservations in advance. I could give you a few suggestions too.

Visit BARCELONA ๐ช๐ธ Spain Street Art, Galleries, Events, by vickiero on Jul 8, 2024 16:32:41 GMT 1, Hey! Just got back from Barcelona recently, so here's what I recommend:
Best area to stay: Definitely check out the Gothic Quarter or El Born. Stayed in El Born myselfโsuper charming with narrow streets, cool bars, and close to everything. Street art hotspots: El Raval and Poblenou are where you wanna go. Spent an afternoon wandering Poblenou, and the murals there are just amazing. Best vinyl shops: Discos Paradiso is a must. Found some rare gems there. Also, Revolver Records has a great selection and friendly staff.
