The real shame is that that's what righties always do. When presented views and opinions against their views, they bann out those views and opinions. It's a bit like with ignorant people. You can't argue with people that don't want to listen.

I didn't back down from the discussion, i backed down from the thread. Actually i was in the discussion way before you interfered. The discussion and level of humanity in some posts spiralled down and it was best to remove myself from THAT discussion. I had to repeat myself several times also to explain my views. Your compelling arguments are as inhuman as they come. You might have some of your facts right (i don't know) but i think we need to help people in need also. 
I also wrote that i am not here to convince anyone to follow my personal opinion or view. I am just here to ask for attention on some people who seriously need it right now. 
If you think they don't need/deserve immediate help and you have your arguments, fine. But I DO, what further is there to discuss at this point? That we need to sort the world out a bit better? That people should get help but in their own home country? That we need the refugees in the EU and not UK? That wars and dictators are bad? That we sent people back who don't want to fit in? Etc etc etc? My answer to that question would be  : Yes very much so, let's!! But then again (and for the last time)....

This thread is about getting the people in Calais the immediate attention (and help) they deserve. It is a humane thing to do, we are talking about real people here.

But we are still in fact talking about the young adult males that you can see throwing rocks at trucks, and building barricades to stop trucks and threaten drivers in countless YouTube vids right? They dont need help, they need to either be deported or put in jail for the countless crimes they commit.

Shouldn't surprise you because that's what hardcore left wing voters always do. They have a certain hippie view of the world where all people are all equal (they are not), they all share the same beliefs (they don't) and we all morally want the same peace love and happiness (we most certainly don't).

Then when someone points out some facts that are 180 degrees opposed to their distorted view of the world, they just randomly call you names or use the word 'racism' and then they run off to their vegan gender neutral friends that live in the same weird bubble of denying everything that's happening in the world that's opposed to what they believe. 

Simple facts are that there are quite possibly some people in Calais that actually have a valid case of wanting help. The rest are just opportunists that want free money from a system they essentially hate but don't mind profiting off.

I have listened to the views expressed by people on this thread who do not hold similar values to myself. I find some of the views expressed in this thread disgusting.
As I said last night, I have made my views clear. I do not expect to change anyone else's view. I have chosen to leave it at that, and not be goaded in to further argument.

The problem is those camps are a combination of people who really need help and criminals.
Until you weed out the criminals, no one is going anywhere. Is this aid going to those people that are f**king with peoples cars as they drive through, threatening or punching or going to those who are raping women in the camps?

If the money people gives goes to the right places then all good. Otherwise you are funding future issues that will really bite you on the bum. I guess no one can guarantee it is going to the right areas, thats the problem.

Also france should be supplying basic food, making them starve is just crazy. You can see the point though, in that if you make it comfortable then more will think it's acceptable to travel to those camps. 

Lets also remember not everyone who crosses over goes to Calais, im sure many are being well looked after in other countries.


This discussion is really about why they want to be in those calais camps in particular. So what if their family is already here, they probably crossed illegally anyway and why should they be given an easy ride. Plenty apply to come here through the proper channels and by letting the family in you are really mugging everyone else off who does it properly. No country has an open door, all have rules. That is the world

I am completely up for discussion, but then in a well behaved manner and without silly (sometimes lunatic) posts and replies. Then i have to add (once again!!) that i did not want any discussion on the complete refugee issue as that is far to complicated to solve (?) on this forum. My main reason for starting this thread was to point out that underaged people are dying and that we should help them. THAT IS IT! Donate, publish, regram, whatever.... Help them!
If people want to discuss the issue further that is perfectly fine by me, but do that while we donate, go and help or send clothing or food.
Most express (and keep repeating) their views why NOT TO HELP but only discuss. Some even talk about 'teaching them a lesson' not to help and not to donate just to make a point. I won't argue with those people as i have completely opposite ideas. I will never not want to help, and i am not trying to convince people with opposite ideas and thought. I personally find some of the people on this forum (who don't want to help the refugees) pushing me to change my idea. I have no need to argue with those people. Why would i?

Json was raising the fact that innocent people from war torn countries needed serious help, all you seem interested in is turning it into a discussion with question marks just so there is traffic on your site,

So I guess your happy now I'm voicing my opinions as it will keep this thread going, unless your not happy with discussions about yourself and how you chose to run your art forum.

For the sake of humanity, threads like this should be used for a positive light and guide us towards helping those in need, and not a springboard for attention seeking individuals who don't seem to have any morales whatsoever........
