Your lefty nonsense isn't missed
And this is what's wrong with urban art today. Years ago it used to be about different ideas and a different way of thinking. Sadly now there's lots of kids like 'offthehooksbooks' coming on here just to try and make a quick buck and totally missing the point. It's just sad how many people these days don't understand what this forum used to be all about. And that's me done in this thread.
You only post here when you're selling or wanting sympathy for your immigrant mrs !
quick buck ? I don't sell anything here so where you got that from I don't know.

The Jungle in Calais, by offthehookbooks on Oct 27, 2016 16:36:54 GMT 1, just to add one last thing to this thread... i know people working in the camp in calais at the moment. They tell me that contrary to what is being said on all media outlets that the camps have not been cleared of people and that there are a lot of unaccompanied children being left to look after themselves. There aren't enough buses and it seems that France has run out of places to put people... So there we go... sometimes whatever you see on the telly or read in your daily mail is not actually the whole truth. Sometimes it is downright lies.
I personally visited the jungle 4 times during the euro's
oh yes and your art is shit

You know what I did reply but I've deleted what I originally said now as why should I sink to his level.
My 'immigrant girlfriend' (who by the way is now 5 months pregnant) has now been verbally abused twice so she's having to learn to live with the kind of ignorant comments seen on this forum thread.
Sadly racism and ignorance have been given a platform and people like 'offthehooksbooks' feel emboldened and justified in their comments.
I feel sorry for him (if it is a him) and hope that one day he sees how silly he's been.

The Jungle in Calais, by crank on Oct 27, 2016 22:34:57 GMT 1, So either you're saying I'm lying or, as I suspect, that you're one of those people who think it's always all the immigrants who are breeding so they can take over the UK. What a nice man you are.
Jeez who was talking about banning people? Such obvious racist and bigotry have no place on an art forum.
Is Daniel Silk really going to let this slide?

1. You're in the 'politics' forum 2. Look up the definition of forum it will surprise you 3. This whole place was created off the back of the banksy ebay forum, like it or not banksys work on occasion is hugely political 4. Banksy is unashamedly left in his political views 5. It is possible not to read threads you have no interest in 6. Shutting down debate implies what? 7. Instead of left or right, I'd love it if people were able to say evil or good, put themselves in someone else's position and question if they would like to be treated like that.

The Jungle in Calais, by Dr Plip on Oct 28, 2016 23:19:25 GMT 1, I fully appreciate that some people hate it when threads (particularly political ones or ones about bombed children) start to descend into slanging matches, but there's no denying that they're useful now and then for learning more about members and their political leanings and/or moral compass.
We all go on lists.
Mental ones.

Yes I know exactly what list Offthehooksbooks is on (think UKIP, Britain First or EDL and that'll give you a clue!)

Brilliant. never really thought about it like that. My favorite bit about that film is the montage sequences. Later in the film there are montages of the films earlier montages. Pretty ground breaking stuff.
